How to enable JavaScript in a Web browser

If JavaScript is disabled in your web browser some web pages will not function properly.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. In Internet Explorer click on the 'Tools' menu
  2. Select 'Internet Options'
  3. Click on the 'Security' tab
  4. Click on the 'Custom Level...' button
  5. Scroll down and set the option 'Active scripting' to 'Enable'
  6. Click on the 'OK' button
  7. Click 'Yes'
  8. Click 'OK'
If the web page is still not working, simply press the 'F5' key on your keyboard to reload it.

Mozilla Firefox PC users

  1. In Firefox click on the 'Tools' menu
  2. Select 'Options'
  3. Click on the 'Content' tab
  4. Check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox
  5. Finally click on the 'OK' butto
If the web page is still not working, simply press the 'F5' key on your keyboard to reload it.

Mozilla Firefox Mac users

  1. Click ‘Firefox’ on the top menu
  2. Select ‘Preferences’
  3. Click the content icon
  4. Check ‘Enable Javascript’

Opera

  1. In Opera click on the 'Tools' menu
  2. Select 'Preferences'
  3. Click on the 'Advanced' tab
  4. Click on the 'Content' option
  5. Check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox
  6. Finally click on the 'OK' button
If the web page is still not working, simply press the 'F5' key on your keyboard to reload it.

Safari for Mac OS X

  1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
  2. Click Security.
  3. Check Enable JavaScript.
  4. Close the window.
  5. Click Reload.
